SCSM 2016 code base has been updated to support .Net Framework 4.5.1. This, is a good thing. However, to do this Microsoft had to move some of the classes between assemblies. This means two things. First, anyone who has created their own customisations, or extensions for SCSM needs to understand which classes have moved where to understand if their bespoke solutions are affected. Second, anyone who has used apps by third party vendors such as the Cireson portal apps, or Cased Dimensions Asset Management will need to check with their vendors whether an upgrade path for their apps has been identified.
